The Daily Fret~ Quest for Annus Mirabilis

The Daily Fret~ Quest for Annus Mirabilis
Starting 1 March, I shall be attempting the "Daily Fret"; a simple
attempt to look for poetry in the simple everyday. For seconds tick away before we realize a life has been lived. It must not go by uninspired, unnoticed.

This blog in this respect aspires to be a Dialogue, and not just a listening post; so freely comment and participate, its a resonant communique we all crave-You to I, and I to You.

Happy reading.

Tired Feet

Tired feet's,
Habit to ease,
Another's shoes,
Off their heat,
And shoulders lend,
To passing each,
And befriend,
Their unknown dreams,
Whilst their own;
Tattered piece,
Of life or joy,
Or sorrows meek,
Wait in wonder,
In shy peeks.
For desire drives;
The world to seek,
Oneself at,
A price that seems,
Fair enough-
Lest you leave,
This bargain fair,
And wouldn't keep,
My hopes upon,
A fair mantle piece,
To quench my thirst,
That wouldn't cease;
But drown itself,
In your cluttered heaps...

Sir
Welcome to the community of bloggers. I have been following your poetry on facebook very often. And I have always liked the poems because of their depth and overall structure. And talking about hope, you have always been there igniting it but in your own way though :-)
Remember what Andy says in Shawshank Redemption in a letter to Red - Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies...

a thing so good should ever thrive and i've always wanted to destroy something beautiful... :D

keep writing.
